James Lee Warren, 70, of Bucyrus, passed peacefully at his home in the presence of many who loved him dearly on Monday, October 31, 2022.
Jim was born February 6, 1952 in Ravenna, Ohio to the late James C. and Jeanine M. (Stewart) Warren. He attended Niles McKinley High School and during those years he enjoyed being a member of the Sacred Mushrooms.
Jim was a welder by trade and took great pride in every job performed. He worked for Permco in Streetsboro and Dosco in Ravenna for several years and on April 7, 1990, he married Charlene B. Smith who survives. They settled in Bucyrus, where he continued his welding career at Transco for 22 years and Eagle Crusher for six more before retiring. He was a member of the United Steelworkers Local 9130.
Jim was a man who loved muscle cars, Harley Davidson Motorcycles and the Cleveland Browns. He cherished any time spent with his family and always maintained an ornery and sarcastic sense of humor with those he loved. He was very talented at woodworking and built many pieces of furniture and crafts for family and friends. Jim enjoyed fishin
