Biografía
[editar]A los 16 años dejó la escuela media para empezar a trabajar y dedicarse a cantar en público:
Fui a ver un cantor maravilloso que cantaba con Osvaldo Pugliese, que se llamaba Alberto Morán. Tenía una pinta infernal, y las mujeres se sacaban los corpiños y se los tiraban. Sí, sí: esos corpiños que se usaban antes armados y duros [risas]. Entonces me dije: «Yo tengo que laburar de esto». Después, gracias a Dios, tuve el apoyo de mi viejo, sobre todo como no quise ir al secundario, no quise ir a estudiar, empecé a cantar y me dijo: «Si pensás que vas a ser feliz yo te ayudo». Empecé a trabajar en una fábrica de jabón, tenía 16 años, trabajaba de cinco de la mañana a una de la tarde. Iba a mi casa, comía como un desaforado, dormía, y después cantaba en un cabaret hasta las cuatro de la mañana y de ahí me iba a la fábrica

Featuring Jonatan Szer on percussion, Sebastián Noya on bass and Exequiel Mantega on piano and composition, the Exequiel Mantega Trio incorporates to the standard jazz trio format new compositional languages which draw from the rich and diverse Argentinian musical tradition.
With a repertoire made up of original compositions by Exequiel Mantega, the trio offers a unique approach to Tango, Argentinian Folklore and Latin American Music, combining its elements and developing a modern sound which explores texture and timbre.
All the pieces in this group are completely original, composed by Exequiel Mantega.
Exequiel Mantega
Pianist, Composer, Teacher & Producer.
Born in Buenos Aires in 1983, Exequiel Mantega lives and works in Argentina. In 2012 Editions Henry Lemoine published his flute duet arrangements of Astor Piazzolla’s «Etudes tanguistiques». As a musician he has participated in over 15 albums, in most of which he has worked as artistic and/or executive producer.

MARCELO RODRÍGUEZ SCILLA
Composer, arranger, conductor, instrumentalist and singer: Marcelo Rodríguez Scilla began his guitar musical studies at an early age, and then entered promoted to the second upper cycle of the National Conservatory of Music, where he completed his training.
At the same time, he studied singing and vocal technique at the same house of studies. He perfected himself in lyrical discipline with Professor Carmen Favre. He obtained his diploma of Higher Professor of Music in the careers of Guitar and Singing and studied postgraduate courses in Choral and Orchestral Direction, completing them at eighteen years of age.
He began his professional career at age fifteen conducting the Polyphonic Choir of the Basilica “Nuestra Señora de Buenos Aires.” He also directed the “Coral San Rafael” among many other choral and instrumental chamber groups.
