Jen Kessy Biography
Jennifer Kessy grew up in sunny Southern California, which naturally led her to the beach. Throughout her childhood she developed a love for volleyball, which extended from the gym to the sand courts in San Clemente. While in high school she served as the team captain for the Volleyball and Swim teams and earned AllCalifornia Interscholastic Federation second team honors on the volleyball court. After graduating from Dana Hills High School she continued her volleyball career and education at the University of Southern California. Kessy started all-four years for the Trojans and earned All-American honors as a senior while also playing fro the U.S. Junior National Team. After earning her degree in history she set her sites on a pro career, and played on the indoor and beach circuit for several years with some of the most prominent players in the world. In 2009 she captured a Gold Medal at the 2009 Stavanger World Championships in beach volleyball and went on to earn a silver medal in beach volleyball at the 2012 London Olympic Games.

Jennifer "Jen" Anne Kessy (born July 31, 1977) is a retired American professional beach volleyball player on the AVP Tour.[1] She currently is the coach of April Ross and Alix Klineman.[2]
Early years
Growing up in Southern California, Kessy excelled at multiple sports. In high school, she was the MVP of the swim team her junior year and the captain and the MVP of the volleyball team her senior year, earning honors as an All-California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) second team. In 1994, she graduated from Dana Hills High School in Dana Point, California.[3]
