Father Ejike Camillus Anthony Ebenezer Mbaka

Father Ejike Camillus Anthony Ebenezer Mbaka is a Nigerian Catholic priest, founder and spiritual director of Adoration Ministry Enugu.

Background

Fr. Mbaka is the only son in his family. His father was against Father Mbaka's decision to become a priest.[1]

Parents

Father Mbaka's father was Chief Humphrey Ogbuefi Mbaka and his mother is Mrs Felicia Mbaka.[2] Both of Father Mbaka's parents are from Amata Ituku in Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State. The Ogbuefi Mbaka family are known for having special talent in tapping palm wine in the Ituku community.[1]

Education

He did his secondary school education at St. Vincent’s secondary School Agbogugn in Awgu L.G.A of Enugu state, he proceeded to Seat of Wisdom Seminary Owerri and St Joseph’s Ikot Ekpene for his training, and nurturing to the priesthood.[1]

Ejike Mbaka, is a Roman Catholic Reverend Father based in Enugu a recognized for his firebrand and pentecostal-styled type of preaching. He is heavily filled (drunken) with the Holy Ghost with remarkable evidence of Speaking in Other Tongues. His ministrations are characterized by miracles, Signs and wonders. Ejike Camillus Anthony Ebenezer Mbaka, popularly known as Father Mbaka, is a Nigerian Catholic priest, musician and the founder of Adoration Ministries in Enugu, Nigeria.[1][2] He is noted for being one of the most prominent religious leaders in the south-eastern part of Nigeria.[3]

Early life and background

Mbaka was born in Amata Ituku in Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State, where he grew up with his family who were palm wine tappers.[4] He attended St. Vincent's Secondary School, Agbogugu in Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State for his secondary education.[4]

Priesthood

Mbaka attended Seat of Wisdom Seminary, Owerri, Imo State and St Joseph's Seminary Ikot Ekpene in Akwa Ibom State, where he was trained for priesthood.[4] On 29 July 1995, He was ordained a priest of the Catholic Church.[5]
