Leagues is an American rock band from Nashville, Tennessee that formed in 2013.[1] The band are made up of Thad Cockrell and Jeremy Lutito.[1] They released their first studio album in 2013 entitled You Belong Here that was released by Bufalotone Records.[2] The album saw commercial charting successes,[3] and it garnered positive reception from music critics.[2][4][5][6]

Background

The band started on January 29, 2013, with members Thad Cockrell on lead vocals, former Audio Adrenaline guitarist Tyler Burkum on guitars, Mike Simons on bass guitar, and drummer and former Jars of Clay touring member Jeremy Lutito.[1] In 2013, the band signed with Bufalotone Records.[1]

Major League was an American rock band from Mantua Township, New Jersey.[2] They were signed to No Sleep Records.

History

Major League began in 2009. In July 2012, the group performed a few shows in Canada in July with The Swellers.[3] They signed to No Sleep Records in September.[4] They supported Man Overboard on their four date east coast tour in 2012.[5] They partook in a co-headlining tour with Turnover and Maker in late 2012.[6] In Spring of 2013, Major League supported Senses Fail on their headlining spring tour.[7] In early 2014, Major League embarked on a headlining tour with support from Have Mercy, Seaway, and Better Off.[8] In January 2014, vocalist Nick Trask departed from the band.[9] In a statement released by Trask, he said:
